The Monticello pedicure spa chair is based on Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's Barcelona Chair and Stool (1929), originally created to furnish his German Pavilion at the International Exhibition in Barcelona. Mies van der Rohe designed the chair to serve as seating for the king and queen of Spain. The Monticello pedicure spa is of quality fit for royalty. The cushions – welting and buttons included – come in five choices of faux leather. To create the deep, precise tufting, individual panels of faux leather are cut, hand welted and hand tufted. The body is made from water resistant material sealed with five choices of laminate. Adjustable footrest accommodates all sizes of people. Made in USA. Features three seats and two large upholstered armrests each with a pull-out drink tray,and a magazine rack. The pedicure also has a two large storage drawers, two outlets and three pedicure stations each with a faucet, a pull-out sprayer, an adjustable footrest, and a stainless steel sink that will not crack or break. We can also special order any commercially available laminate from Wilsonart, Pionite, Nevamar or Laminart. . You may also choose the fabric for your pedicure. We have standard vinyl colors that can be specified when ordering Design X salon furniture.
